Ann Maina

I am an experienced field interviewer and volunteer with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. I bring hands-on experience collecting accurate survey data across multiple research projects and counties.

My work includes converting reluctant respondents, managing time effectively in the field, and collecting unbiased responses for studies on consumer products and housing. I have participated in research on student accommodation, tea and bottled water brands, lifestyle consumption, and pro-gas adoption.

As a volunteer with The Open Institute I mapped public and private accessibility features, assessing ramps, lifts, signage, and pavement safety to improve inclusion for people with disabilities. These tasks sharpened my observation, teamwork, and organizational abilities.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Tourism and Sociology) with Second Class Upper Division and a Basic Computer Applications certification. I am a fast learner, team player, and motivated to apply and expand my skills in research, community-focused roles, and field data collection.
