I’m a Correctional Deputy II at Humboldt County, where I focus on safety and security for multiple inmates at once while providing support and care based on each person’s individual needs. I intervene in conflicts with officers and other inmates, complete 30-minute to hourly checks depending on the unit, and document headouts on inmates every 6 hours to help ensure the public’s safety.

I’m also trained to provide daily structure—serving meals at appropriate times, ensuring inmates have basic needs like food, water, clothing, shelter, and access to health resources and phone calls. Alongside my correctional work, I bring strong service and operations experience as a restaurant busser, keeping shifts running smoothly through cleanliness, organization, heavy-lift dish handling, and quick coverage when needed.
