What I'm looking for

I’m looking to support organizations through research-driven writing and editorial leadership—coordinating calendars, editing high-quality content, and translating human-rights and governance research into clear, usable outputs for stakeholders and decision-makers.

I’m an independent researcher, writer, and consultant focused on human rights, governance, and development. I coordinate editorial calendars, manage publications, and conduct independent investigations—often supporting legal and archival research to bring needed context to complex cases.

In editorial leadership, I’ve managed publications and external communications as Editorial Director for Syria Justice Archive, with an emphasis on ongoing deliverables and documentation. I’ve also worked as an Editorial Intern, coordinating content with internal teams and external writers and copy/content editing 4–5 articles per week across priority countries and topics.

My research background complements the editorial work: I’ve conducted legal, archival, and field research into how access to legal documentation varies outside of state control. I’ve also supported legal operations as a Legal Editor (maternity cover), managing a case calendar and helping prepare 100+ immigrant/nonimmigrant petitions and related documents, while previous roles included writing, editing, and publishing ten articles and contributing to stakeholder-focused initiatives.
