Angelica Ruiz

I’m a documentary filmmaker and video editor with a background in Time-Based Media and a Master’s degree in Creative Media Conception. My main focus is editing, particularly documentary, branded and narrative-driven content.

I enjoy working with real stories and raw footage, finding the strongest moments and shaping them into something clear, engaging and visually cohesive. I have experience editing short documentaries, social media campaigns, branded content and event-related projects, working with interviews, archival material, b-roll, music, sound design, color and motion graphics.

I also have several years of experience shooting and documenting events, which has given me a strong understanding of what makes footage useful in the edit. However, I’m now primarily focused on building my career as a remote video editor and working with international clients and creative teams.

I’m interested in long-term remote collaborations where I can contribute not only technically, but also creatively to the storytelling and overall direction of the edit.
