@andrewbuscemi
Motivated political data intern and research assistant seeking impact in law, government, and public service.
What I'm looking for
I’m a motivated, detail-oriented student building my career around political research, data work, and evidence-based civic impact. Through my accelerated 4+1 Master of Public Policy track and double major, I’m developing a strong foundation in political science, policy thinking, and public service.
As a Political Data Intern at WeVote, I support a nonprofit, nonpartisan voter-guide platform by conducting multi-state political research—tracking candidate policies, ballot measures, and endorsements. I manage and input election data into an open-source platform, collaborate with remote teams to resolve reporting issues in real time, and help power voter education through data-driven insights.
I also work as a Research Assistant developing research on affective polarization. I code statements for data, create annotated bibliographies, contribute to survey materials and IRB requirements, and I’m named second author on a research paper with publication estimated for Winter 2026 or sooner.
