What I'm looking for

I'm looking for remote opportunities where I can build production web applications or embedded IoT systems end-to-end, collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams, and continue growing across backend architecture, cloud services, and hardware-integrated products.

At Jamaica Public Service, I built Angular interfaces, backend services, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL data models for internal data platforms used across multiple business units.

I've owned web features from API design through deployment, integrated third-party services, optimized database queries, and supported code quality through testing and code reviews. I work comfortably in agile, distributed teams using Git and sprint-based collaboration.

My electronics engineering background also drives my embedded work: I designed a vehicle telematics black box in Embedded C with GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, crash detection, redundant storage, custom PCBs, and 3D-printed enclosures.

I'm continuing an MSc in Computer-Based Management Information Systems while bringing experience in technical support, industrial reliability, root-cause analysis, and condition-based monitoring.
