At Allianz, I own Java and Kotlin Spring Boot microservices for insurance workflows, including proposal submission, premium calculation, printing, and secure authorization. I built and evolved a PostgreSQL-backed Authorizer service for token storage, retrieval, expiry handling, and recovery-aware access.
I modernized encryption from legacy AES-CBC/BouncyCastle logic to Spring Security Encryptors while preserving backward-compatible decryption for existing production tokens. I added compatibility, tamper-detection, fallback, and concurrency tests to support a safe rollout.
I also identified risks in aggressive token cleanup and helped replace unsafe deletion behavior with expiry-based handling and targeted metrics. For database changes, I delivered Flyway migrations and validated forward and rollback behavior with Testcontainers and JDBC-level assertions.
At GlobalLogic, I built backend services for regulated fintech and banking workflows, including payments, loans, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. I also built SQL-based checks for recurring reports that reduced manual preparation effort by 40%.
