At Cape Nature (Berg Estuary), I conducted marine and estuarine compliance inspections and monitoring by vessel, vehicle, and foot. I also collected ecological data and maintained field records and compliance documentation.
At the Department of Forestry Fisheries and Environment in Mossel Bay, I supervised Honorary Marine Conservation Inspectors and coordinated field activities. I assisted with investigations, arrests, case follow-ups, and drafting section 212 statements.
As a Conservation Work Integrated Leaner Student at Garden Route National Park- Wilderness, I participated in alien plant control, rehabilitation, and fire management. I also supported biodiversity monitoring, Environmental Impact Assessment processes, and community environmental awareness.
