Anas Mahmoud

I’m a second-year Computer and Information student specializing in Cybersecurity, with a strong foundation in STEM education and hands-on experience in research and technical projects. I’m motivated by advancing knowledge in cybersecurity and contributing to impactful, innovation-driven initiatives.

I actively develop teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills through volunteer initiatives and student tech communities such as GDG and ACM. I also volunteer with Resala, strengthening my ability to collaborate and take initiative.

My technical foundation spans security and compliance, including Network Security, Information Security Management, Ethical Hacking / Penetration Testing, Cybersecurity Policies & Compliance, and Web Security Fundamentals. I also work with IT and networking concepts using Linux / Windows and networking protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP/S.

I bring practical tooling and programming skills—Python, Java, C++, plus Git/GitHub and data/analytics capabilities. I’m looking to grow in cybersecurity roles where I can deepen my expertise and help protect systems through real-world security work.
