At UKG, I lead the design and delivery of real-time payroll data pipelines serving thousands of customers and millions of reads per hour. Our platform moves more than USD $11.6 billion in payroll funds weekly while maintaining 99.98% availability.
I help an eight-person engineering team make sound architectural and delivery decisions, while mentoring through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance. I’ve also separated critical monolithic payroll modules into independently scalable Kafka-based components and strengthened reliability with NUnit automation.
Previously at Quaris Soluciones, I led points and discount systems for debit and credit card transactions, including integrations for Uruguayan banks. I enjoy designing secure REST integrations, reliable RabbitMQ event flows, and distributed systems that turn complex product needs into durable technology.
