Ana Nieves
@ananieves
I drive forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization across R&D, procurement, and consumer products.
What I'm looking for
At Johnson & Johnson, I partner with R&D and procurement leaders to drive forecasting, budgeting, financial performance, and cost visibility. I own Opex project budgets across R&D initiatives, including headcount planning.
I lead core FP&A work spanning variance analysis, accruals, expense modeling, management reporting, and SOX-compliant controls. Using Anaplan, SAP, and Power BI, I analyze spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support cost-saving decisions.
Previously at L’Oréal, I supported the Active Cosmetics division’s $100M+ SG&A operational expenses through forecasting, annual planning, reconciliations, variance analysis, and risk assessment. I also automated Excel dashboards and reports to improve planning and visualization.
My earlier work at Borden Dairy and AT&T included KPI dashboards, quarterly forecasts, TM1 implementation support, and management of a $30M+ Capex budget. I bring hands-on financial planning, business-case analysis, and reporting experience across consumer products, telecommunications, and pharma.
