At PWC, I supported IFRS 17 compliance projects by assisting with risk adjustments for Liability for Remaining Coverage and Liability for Incurred Claims. I applied the Mack and chain-ladder methods and helped automate insurance reserve valuation models in Excel.

I also assisted in transitioning those models to R, cleaned and organized policy data, and developed unified templates to improve consistency and accuracy. I contributed to policy categorization for the Level of Aggregation process, supporting more traceable reserve estimates.

At the Central Bank of Egypt, I gained hands-on exposure to Money and Capital Markets, Quantitative Analysis and Modeling, FX, foreign currency reserves portfolio management, and monetary policy implementation. The internship included simulations of daily Markets sector tasks, and I prepared a presentation summarizing my learning for the sector’s Sub-Governor and team members.

I graduated with honors from the American University of Cairo with a Bachelor of Actuarial Science and double minors in Economics and Business Administration. My studies and experience have shaped my interest in financial markets, valuation, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
