What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role in internal audit or finance where I can apply compliance expertise, strengthen controls, and grow into senior audit responsibilities within a collaborative, process-focused team.

I am an internal audit professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting option) and practical experience supporting audits at the Capital Market Authority. I apply audit standards and regulatory knowledge to strengthen compliance and operational controls.

At the Capital Market Authority I support audit teams, use AMSTeammate for documenting findings, draft working papers, and recommend improvements to processes and compliance. My work has deepened my understanding of policies, regulations and audit procedures.

Earlier roles in accounting and finance — including an attachment at Eldoret Water and Sanitation Co. Ltd — gave me hands-on experience with payment vouchers, cashbooks, general ledger postings (SERA), bank reconciliations and monthly reporting. I have also worked in customer-facing sales and IT support roles, which strengthened my communication and client-service skills.
