At Espressif Systems, I reworked Amazon’s Linux/Raspberry Pi-oriented Alexa Voice Service client for memory-constrained ESP32 devices, progressing from a C++ port to a native C implementation and integrating audio and wake-word components for commercial products.
I architected common platform interfaces for Wi-Fi, BLE, peripherals, flash, and crash diagnostics across Espressif Xtensa and RISC-V SoCs. I also designed secure factory provisioning that connects module firmware and Python production tools with YubiHSM-backed cryptographic operations and cloud verification.
I led the porting of Amazon Sidewalk firmware to Espressif platforms, integrating Semtech SX1262/LR1110 transceivers and resolving technical issues with Amazon engineering teams. I also designed host-to-Matter-module interfaces and advised customers on solution fit and certification.
As Engineering Manager at Espressif Systems, I lead a four-engineer firmware team and work with device makers and Amazon partners on integrations, test readiness, and commercial deliveries. Earlier at MARVELL INDIA, I developed Apple HomeKit SDK components for Cortex-M systems and built peripheral drivers.
