What I'm looking for

I’m seeking to bring strategic financial insight and strong analytical skills to a new organization—leading cost accounting, strengthening inventory controls, improving month-end close, and delivering KPI-driven reporting through data tools and process improvement.

I’m a results-driven Cost Accounting Manager with nearly 19 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing accounting. I bring proven expertise in inventory control, financial reporting, and process improvement within a large-scale consumer goods environment, and I’m known for turning detailed analysis into operational efficiency.

In my current role, I lead month-end close activity, including journal entries and account reconciliations for manufacturing. I oversee inventory valuation and cycle count programs to ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP, coordinate annual standard cost rollouts, and partner with operations to investigate and resolve inventory variances.

I also strengthen accuracy and accountability through audit support and inventory reconciliation work, including intercompany inventory transactions between US and Canada and obsolete reserve calculations. I build KPI reporting for management and create ad hoc reporting with tools like Microstrategy and PowerBi, while leveraging data tools such as pivot tables and advanced Excel and supporting ERP implementations like Oracle.
