I am a passionate educator currently serving as a Capital Teaching Resident at KIPP DC Lead Academy, where I co-teach first graders and implement innovative lesson plans. My experience includes preparing engaging ELA and math lessons, analyzing student data, and differentiating instruction for students with IEPs. I take pride in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth and emotional well-being.
Prior to my current role, I served as a Student Success Coach with City Year, where I dedicated over 1700 hours to tutoring and coaching students in fourth grade. My commitment to education is reflected in my academic achievements, having graduated Magna cum laude from the University of Washington with degrees in Law, Societies, and Justice, and International Studies.
