Attorney-at-Law delivering litigation support and regulatory-compliance counsel for corporate risk.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Attorney-at-Law admitted to practice in Jamaica with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in private practice. My work spans legal operations, litigation support, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on practical, risk-aware outcomes.
I represent clients and attend court proceedings across the Jamaican legal system, managing litigation matters end-to-end. I draft and review legal opinions, contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other court-related documentation while keeping deadlines, correspondence, and client communication tightly coordinated.
I support compliance with POCA obligations, client due diligence procedures, confidentiality requirements, and professional conduct standards. I also conduct legal research using LexisNexis and regulatory resources to strengthen litigation and advisory positions, and I assist with corporate and commercial matters such as regulatory filings and business documentation.
Alongside my legal practice, I’m currently pursuing an MBA to deepen my expertise in compliance, corporate governance, technology regulation, and international risk management. I’m energized by cross-functional operational support in regulated environments—where strong legal drafting, stakeholder communication, and governance discipline directly protect organizations.
