Quantum sensing researcher at University of Nottingham developing a dual-isotope optically pumped atomic spin gyroscope.
What I'm looking for
At University of Nottingham, I develop a dual-isotope (CsXe) optically pumped atomic spin gyroscope prototype. My work includes designing and constructing the experimental setup, optimizing the system, and characterizing its noise.
I’ve designed real-time monitoring systems and feedback-control algorithms for atomic sensors, and built Python tools for data cleaning, visualization, and experimental automation. I also analyze multidimensional datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics.
My research spans quantum sensing, condensed matter physics, quantum optics, and aspects of quantum information science. I use statistical modelling and time-series analysis to turn noisy experimental data into quantitative insights, and develop and validate computational models against experimental datasets.
I’ve also developed FPGA-based tools for single-photon coincidence detection, along with supporting software and a user-friendly GUI for experimental control and data acquisition. I’m seeking to apply my quantitative and computational skills to data-driven modelling and analytics challenges.
