At Universe, I built a custom Go autoscaler for Visify, a SageMaker-based generative-AI product, orchestrating up to 250 single-job GPU instances. It eliminated mid-job terminations and reduced wasted GPU spend by holding hourly-billed instances through idle gaps.
I also migrated App Store Server Notifications ingestion from Node.js to Go on a NATS-based microservice architecture, increasing throughput 5x. As Backend Tech Lead, I led a backend team, made technical decisions, and mentored engineers.
