Alexander Nenashev

I specialize in frontend engineering and architecture for complex web applications. For the last 4+ years, my primary stack has been Vue 3, TypeScript and Vite, but my work is broader than a particular framework: evolving existing systems, designing architecture, refactoring large codebases, improving performance and modernizing products incrementally.

I am comfortable joining an established codebase, understanding how it works, identifying structural problems and improving it without requiring a full rewrite. My work includes Web Performance and Core Web Vitals, rendering and loading optimization, application state and data architecture, reusable component systems, framework-level abstractions, custom build tooling and developer experience improvements.

My earlier full-stack background also allows me to work beyond the UI layer. I am comfortable with REST APIs, Node.js, relational database design, SQL and query optimization. I have worked with multiple languages and technology stacks throughout my career, so moving to another component-based frontend framework such as React is primarily a matter of learning its APIs and ecosystem rather than learning software engineering again.

I perform particularly well in long-term product development, where deep knowledge of the system can be converted into progressively better architecture, reliability and development velocity. I can contribute to technical design, decomposition, code review, mentoring, development automation, internal tooling and Playwright E2E testing.

Over the last year, AI-agent-assisted development has become a major part of my workflow. I work with Codex, Cursor and Claude Code as engineering tools rather than using uncontrolled vibe coding. I decompose tasks, define architecture, contracts and types, constrain the scope of changes, specify acceptance criteria and verify results through code review, type checking and automated tests.

I am most interested in engineering problems where the value comes from understanding complex systems, finding technical and process bottlenecks, and improving the product at the architecture, performance and developer-experience levels.
