Alaere Brambaifa

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist trained in hematological, microbiological, and chemical pathology analyses, with hands-on experience supporting patient diagnosis through reliable laboratory testing. My work centers on accurate results, careful sample handling, and strong documentation practices.

During my NYSC at Airforce Reference Hospital, Port Harcourt, I performed diagnostic laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology. I conducted blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility testing, ensuring accurate sample collection, labeling, and analysis while maintaining quality control procedures.

As a Medical Laboratory Intern at Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, I assisted in performing routine laboratory tests and special investigations across various laboratory units, including Hematology, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, and Histopathology. I operated and maintained basic laboratory instruments, followed biosafety and infection control procedures, and supported sample reception, processing, and reporting workflow.

I bring strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication within multidisciplinary teams, with a commitment to professional ethics and patient confidentiality. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, able to use Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and have basic knowledge of statistical analysis and scientific report writing.
