Akshat Sharma

I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad. Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained an impressive 8.0 SGPA. I have gained practical experience as a trainee in the Analytics department at Tech Mahindra, where I have been trained in SQL, DBMS, and Data Warehouse concepts. I have successfully solved various data analytics problems using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Python.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have worked on several projects that demonstrate my technical skills. One notable project is the Live News Android Application, which I developed using Java for the backend and XML for the frontend. This app fetches news from different reliable sources and provides a user-friendly interface. Another project, Body Language Decipher, is a Machine learning-based project that detects and predicts poses. I have also developed an intuitive Calculator Android Application featuring advanced mathematical functionalities.

My skills include data structures and algorithms, C, C++, Data Science, Machine Learning, Android Development and SQL. I have completed certifications in Data Structures and Algorithms using C++, Python for Data Science, SQL Intermediate, Introduction to Networking, Programming Essentials in Python, and Android Application Development. I am a strong communicator, a quick learner, and a problem solver. I have also demonstrated my leadership abilities as the Debate Head and Technical Lead of the Literary Society and Programming Club at ABES Engineering College, respectively.
