Akhil Sasidharan

I am a cinematographer with experience as a director of photography and camera assistant on commercials, digital films and feature projects across India. I’ve worked with directors and production houses on branded TVCs, digital shorts and second-unit photography, delivering visual storytelling for clients such as Volkswagen India, Hyundai and Bombay Shaving Company.

My career includes serving as DOP on multiple branded digital films and commercials, and as First Assistant Camera and Second Unit DOP on larger productions including projects for SonyLiv and feature-style shoots. I hold diplomas in cinematography and still photography and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications Engineering, which supports my technical approach to camera, lighting and workflow.

I bring hands-on experience with on-set camera roles, collaborative direction, and delivering polished visual work for both short-form and longer-form productions. I look to join teams where visual craft, creative collaboration and production excellence are prioritized.
