What I'm looking for

I'm looking to grow as a software developer through hands-on Python, web, or backend work where I can apply algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving skills.

I'm building software in Python, with a focus on practical desktop applications, object-oriented design, and algorithmic problem-solving.

For HappyPaws, an animal shelter event planner, I built a complete desktop application using Python, Kivy, KivyMD, JSON, and Git/GitHub. I created modular screens, utilities, reusable widgets, and JSON persistence for resources and scheduled events.

I implemented event scheduling and resource-validation rules, including co-requirements and incompatibilities. I also used a temporal sweep-line algorithm to detect resource conflicts and find the next available time slot automatically.

I'm studying Computer Science at the University of Havana and strengthening my foundation through competitive programming in C++. I'm currently expanding into web and backend development.
