Aidan Hopkins

I’m a film graduate trained at Full Sail University, focused on creating character-driven stories and bringing them to life end-to-end. I write, direct, produce, and edit with a production-minded approach—so the vision stays intact from pre-production planning through final delivery.

In my short film work, I developed an original contained story rooted in historical FBI research. I wrote, directed, produced, and edited while collaborating with a 7-person crew to maintain historical accuracy in dialogue and set detail.

As a Video Production Assistant at Heartland Youth Camp, I supported daily on-the-ground footage capture and ensured post-production readiness by logging and organizing multiple terabytes of material for the lead editor. I worked closely across all aspects of post production and helped keep production workflows organized and reliable.

I also led creative and technical responsibilities on a student short film—directing, shooting, editing, writing, and acting. I’m proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and also bring basic Avid Media Composer experience, along with strong pre-production skills like shot lists, script breakdowns, and crew call planning.
