What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a surgical training environment where I can strengthen my clinical decision-making across emergency and ICU settings, work with strong teams, and keep developing through structured learning and leadership opportunities.

I’m a General Surgery Resident doctor, building my clinical strength through hands-on rotations that span emergency care, ICU support, and specialized surgical services. Since 2022, I’ve worked as a frontline clinician and progressed through multiple inpatient surgical disciplines.

At Azadi Teaching Hospital (ATH), I’ve served in the emergency department as a frontline doctor, then worked as a junior house officer in the surgical ward and medical ward. I also gained ICU experience and later trained as a Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery Resident, which sharpened my ability to handle complex cases under pressure.

I bring an educator’s mindset to clinical work. I’ve contributed as a co-trainer for new members—delivering lectures about medicine and surgery—and I volunteer with organizations such as IFMSA in the Kirkuk local committee. I’ve also participated in the ECAP project held by WHO for IDPs in Iraq.

I’m motivated by continuous improvement, leadership, and preparedness. I hold certifications in emergency medicine, ACLS, BLS, and mechanical ventilation training, and I’m comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) alongside Android and iOS platforms.
