I’m a Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator with nearly 20 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including 13 years in 24/7 banking operations. I bring hands-on depth across Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, and Ubuntu—backed by strong virtualization, enterprise backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, security hardening, and production troubleshooting. I use Bash and Python scripting to automate recurring administration and maintenance work.

In my current role as a sole Linux/Unix and enterprise backup administrator, I support production banking operations with 150+ production servers across Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, and Ubuntu. I administer VMware and KVM virtual infrastructure supporting 1,000+ VMs, and I’ve designed and maintained disaster-recovery-ready backup services with Dell EMC NetWorker, Avamar, and Data Domain, including restore validation. I also built Bash and Python automation that reduced manual operational work by 40%, while improving consistency and lowering human error.

Right now, I’m focused on OpenShift administration through hands-on lab practice with oc CLI, YAML resources, projects/namespaces, pods and deployments, services and routes, RBAC, and persistent storage concepts. I’m beginning OpenShift Virtualization fundamentals and strengthening my automation path by continuing Python development and learning Ansible for repeatable, scalable workflows.
