What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own production AI systems—RAG/agents, secure APIs, and strong evaluation/guardrails—while building reliable pipelines with observability and cost/latency controls, ideally in a remote-friendly environment.

I’m an Applied AI and Python backend engineer with 3+ years building production RAG, agentic, OCR, data, and API systems. I deliver end-to-end work—owning architecture and data pipelines through deployment and remote client collaboration—so solutions are reliable, measurable, and safe in production.

Recently, I’ve built async FastAPI/Django microservices for Justiva.ai, including hybrid retrieval across 500,000+ legal records with evaluation datasets, hallucination monitoring, guardrails, prompt-injection defenses, fallbacks, and human review. I also deployed a private OCR/document-processing service with access controls, PII redaction, and audit logging, while setting up automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and token-cost/latency controls on AWS/Docker/VPS.
