Adu-Agyei User

I lead Adu-Agyei Architecture Studio, delivering residential, commercial, mixed-use, and institutional developments throughout Southern Africa. I take projects from concept design through construction documentation, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

My work includes high-density social housing in Johannesburg, a mixed-use development in Accra, a luxury residence in Johannesburg, and an ISO-compliant pharmaceutical cleanroom facility in Botswana. I use BIM documentation and sustainable design strategies to balance technical delivery, contextual sensitivity, and user experience.

Before leading my practice, I worked at Rono Architects and Bio Combe Pty Ltd on design, technical documentation, visualization, hospital electrical and mechanical design, costing, and project management.

I've also taught Professional Practice and Architectural Design at the University of Johannesburg, where I supervised Master's and Honours research, coordinated curriculum, and mentored more than 50 architecture students. I'm a registered professional architect with SACAP and a member of SAIA.
