Adrienne Panlilio

US-trained Physician Assistant with a decade of clinical experience spanning Family Medicine, Neurology, and Upper Extremity Orthopedics. For seven years, AD worked full-time in Family Medicine while also practicing part-time in Neurology, managing hospitalized patients with acute neurologic conditions alongside a broad primary care caseload. After starting a family, AD consolidated these two roles into a single full-time position, transitioning into Upper Extremity Orthopedics at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, UCLA, a shift that allowed for more sustainable hours without stepping away from clinical medicine. Throughout this decade of practice, AD also served as a preceptor for medical students, mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

In 2025, AD left clinical practice to relocate from the US to Portugal. Since the move, AD has been navigating the challenge of PAs not being a recognized profession there, and is now exploring paths to continue practicing clinically while also building a parallel career in health tech — developing UX design skills and a portfolio of healthcare-focused app concepts at the intersection of medicine and technology.

Outside of clinical work, AD is a lifelong gamer with 30 years of experience across console generations and PC — from the Sega Genesis and N64 through the PS5 — with a particular depth of engagement in Call of Duty, Halo, World of Warcraft, and Diablo, including structured raid participation in online play.
