I’m an AML Financial Crime AVP delivering high-risk remediation and regulatory advisory.
What I'm looking for
I’m an experienced Financial Crime professional currently working as an Assistant Vice President in AML Refresh Operations at Bank of America (London). I lead AML remediation for complex, high-risk client populations across Corporate and Investment Banking, using detailed CDD/EDD reviews and expert judgement to shape risk decisions in line with risk appetite.
I’ve also served as a Senior Analyst in AML GBM Advisory and Business Controls at Scotiabank, where I provided AML, Sanctions, and PEP advisory support across onboarding and periodic/event-driven reviews. As an SME for high-risk adverse media, PEPs, and UK/EU high-risk third-country nexus, I authored and presented EDD assessments to Financial Crime Committees and supported policy and procedure enhancements to reflect regulatory change.
Earlier, I worked as a Compliance Officer at BLOM Bank France (London), supporting the MLRO with end-to-end EDD, screening alerts and payment investigations (SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS), and drafting audit responses and control testing. I also began my career as an On-boarding AML/KYC Analyst (Transfer Agency) at Royal Bank of Canada (Luxembourg), delivering AML due diligence across complex fund structures and ensuring compliance with requirements such as Patriot Act, MiFID, FATCA, CRS, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and GDPR.
