Adrian Magallanes

I’m a finance-focused student at Texas Tech University and a Finance Intern with hands-on experience supporting the City of Plano’s treasury work. I helped support the debt issuance process by preparing financial documents and reviewing bond structures.

I also strengthened investment planning by analyzing future cash flow needs of the city and evaluating funding strategies to be PFIA compliant. To make the data actionable, I built and maintained Excel models to track and analyze cash flows using formulas and pivot tables for clearer interpretation and presentation.

Beyond finance, I’ve built customer and operations strength through sales and fulfillment roles, delivering tailored recommendations, managing inventory through cycle counts, and resolving order discrepancies while meeting productivity and accuracy standards. I’m equally committed to leadership and communication as Social Media Manager for the Rawls Banking Association and Public Relations Officer for Special Olympics, coordinating outreach, fundraising, and recruitment.
