Adnan Kokni

I’m an MSc Cybersecurity student at the University of Surrey, backed by three industry internships spanning technical support, web development, and AI. I’m focused on turning real-world observations into practical detections, improved workflows, and faster resolution cycles.

Across my internships, I’ve handled live technical support at scale—resolving 20+ daily tickets while maintaining SLA across hosting and server environments. I also built and deployed responsive websites, and completed an AI training program covering supervised learning, model evaluation, and data labelling at scale.

My cybersecurity work is hands-on and structured. I’ve mapped 30+ adversary techniques to MITRE ATT&CK to produce a detection matrix for prioritizing SOC alert rules, and I authored end-to-end incident response playbooks for ransomware, phishing, and insider threat scenarios aligned to NIST SP 800-61.

I hold RHCSA and Fortinet FCF certifications, and I apply them through threat analysis, log analysis, and cloud auditing. I’m seeking remote part-time roles in cybersecurity, IT support, or cloud security to contribute to real-world incident response and vulnerability management.
