I am looking for opportunities that allow me to advance my career in radiology while contributing to medical education and research.

I am Dr. Biruk Tilahun Alemu, a dedicated radiologist and assistant professor with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and medical education. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Radiology Department at Filtu General Hospital and Dollo Ado Hospital, where I lead a team in providing high-quality radiological services. My journey in medicine began with a Medical Doctor degree from Bethel Medical College, followed by a Specialty Certificate in Radiology from Beijing Hospital, China. Throughout my career, I have been committed to advancing my skills and knowledge in radiology, which has enabled me to perform and interpret a wide range of imaging studies, including ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

In my previous roles, I have excelled as a Senior Radiology Resident and Chief Resident at Beijing Hospital, where I not only honed my technical skills but also took on the responsibility of educating medical radiology technology students. My experience includes performing ultrasound-guided procedures and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to discuss treatment plans. I have published seven research articles in reputable journals, reflecting my commitment to contributing to the field of radiology. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, and I strive to create a positive learning environment for my students.
