Abhishek Mahadev Gowda

I’m an AI/ML and computer applications professional with 3+ years of experience across higher education, software development, database engineering, and technical research. I work on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with current research focused on efficient LLM inference and machine learning-based predictive analytics.

I’ve served as an Assistant Professor at Alliance University, CGC University, and Shree Devi Institute of Technology & Engineering, while also working as a Database Engineer (Remote) at WeCode Inc. I enjoy mentoring technical projects and delivering industry-oriented courses, translating research methods into practical, teachable outcomes.

My work includes AI/ML projects like epigenetic analysis for early prediction of child health and cognitive outcomes and sign language detection using CNNs and RNNs. I’ve also published across AI, NLP, computer vision, healthcare analytics, and data mining, including a Best Paper Award at IEEE ICCSC 2026 for “PromptShield: LoRA-Based Refusal Alignment for Adversarial LLM Attacks.”
