I'm pursuing an MSc in Applied Geology at the Central University of Karnataka, building practical experience in remote sensing, climate studies, and geological fieldwork.
At Aga Khan Agency for Habitat, India, I worked on climate risk resilience, urban wetland conservation, and watershed management across Navi Mumbai and Vasai-Virar. I used DEM data and field surveys to identify suitable locations for check dams, water-storage units, and canal systems.
I've also trained at UCIL Narwapahar on underground mine geology, RQD studies, and borehole logging, and worked with IITM Pune on thunderstorm-induced geotectonic hazards in the Himalayas, including the Dharali landslide. My urban heat island study of Mysuru examined land-use change and land surface temperature using remote sensing.
