At Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), I conducted pyrolysis experiments and synthesized biomass-derived hard carbon materials for sodium-ion and lithium-ion battery anodes. The materials improved sodium-ion storage capacity by 13.11% compared with commercial benchmarks.
I assembled coin cells and performed electrochemical testing, including CCCV, alongside structural characterization using XRD, SEM, and Raman spectroscopy. My M.Tech thesis at Mahatma Gandhi University focused on synthesizing and characterizing hard carbons for sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries.
