I’m a backend engineer in fintech and brokerage, building production services in Go (Gin), Java (Spring Boot), and Python on AWS. I’m the primary owner for payments—including pay-ins and payouts—and back-office RBAC, designing reliable event-driven workflows with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
As the second backend engineer at Pocketful, I helped scale the platform from 0 to 180,000 registered users. I’ve built core trading-platform components, partner analytics systems using ClickHouse, and services handling critical financial workflows. I’ve improved performance by up to 2× in selected workloads through database indexing, caching, and denormalization, while also resolving deadlocks, database spikes, and reliability issues. I’ve enabled safer shadow deployments using gRPC and protobuf.
My experience spans PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. I care about simple, scalable architecture, failure-aware design, observability, and systems that are easy to operate in production.
I also mentor junior backend engineers and interns through onboarding, debugging, system-design reviews, and architectural decisions. To accelerate delivery, I use AI-assisted and agentic development workflows with ChatGPT Codex and Claude Code—grounded in clear specifications, automated tests, thoughtful reviews, and production discipline.
