As the Java Backend Developer on a FinTech Trading Platform contract, I designed, built, and operated a production-grade crypto trading system across four exchanges. I implemented services for order execution, market data ingestion, and trade reconciliation, using Kafka and REST APIs for event-driven communication.
I built concurrent WebSocket integrations that processed live market data with 100ms latency, and developed transaction-critical order management with failure handling and recovery mechanisms. The system handled 200+ RPM, maintained 85%+ test coverage, and was deployed using Docker and GitHub Actions.
I also built DevPilot, a full-stack RAG application for chatting with GitHub repositories, including a code indexing pipeline, streamed answers with source citations, and GitHub OAuth2 authentication. For Tasketa, a team project management application, I worked with Java, Spring Boot, and React to bring project tasks and communication into one workspace.
