Abenomugisha Martinah Batamuriiza

I am a motivated International Relations and Diplomatic Studies student with hands-on experience supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Uganda. I bring strong commitment to global engagement, humanitarian service, and building meaningful connections that positively impact communities locally and internationally.

Since 1st August, 2025, I have worked as an Apprentice / Intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kampala, Uganda. I assist with administrative and diplomatic tasks, support coordination of international engagements and office operations, and contribute to research and documentation on foreign policy matters while strengthening my understanding of diplomatic protocols and government procedures.

Alongside my internship, I volunteered for two years at Butabika Mental Hospital in Kampala, Uganda. I supported patient care activities and community engagement programs, helped organize outreach and awareness initiatives, and demonstrated empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills in a sensitive healthcare environment—especially while supporting vulnerable elderly people.

My interest in diplomacy and public service was sparked by participation in the Istanbul International Model United Nations (MUN) Conference. Through debates, negotiations, and diplomatic simulations, I developed public speaking and policy-writing skills, and I now aim to contribute to global development, diplomacy, and public service through reliable, hardworking, high-quality results.
