Abdullah Yousaf

I am an aspiring mechanical engineer with a strong foundation in solid mechanics and fluid dynamics, currently completing a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at PIEAS. I focus on applying CAD/CAM tools and engineering principles to solve practical design and manufacturing problems.

During an internship in die design and CNC programming, I developed hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA, PowerMill and Fusion 360, and gained familiarity with GD&T, material selection and cost/timeline estimation for tooling. I also perform stress and motion simulations and have worked on projects ranging from spring manufacturing to torque calibration for electric vehicles.

I lead as Head of Tour Management for ASME at PIEAS and have placed in competitive events, including winning the Design Quiz at Design Fest and earning a top-five position in a campus startup pitch competition. I bring strong problem-solving, communication and project-management skills alongside technical capabilities in MATLAB, Excel and 3D printing workflows.

I am eager to contribute to innovative engineering projects in a dynamic, hands-on team where I can take on meaningful design and manufacturing responsibilities while further developing technical depth and project leadership. I value mentorship, clear feedback, and opportunities to translate simulations and models into manufacturable products.
