Aaron Watson

I’m a computer science graduate (BS, North Carolina State University, 2019) who blends software building with careful data work. I enjoy turning requirements into working features and then validating outcomes through accuracy and attention to detail.

As a freelance software developer, I built and maintained Android applications for clients and users, including the Abracadabrus Android application, plus Relativity Calculator, Temperature Converter, and Spacetime published on the Google Play Store. I also supported production work as a Software Engineer at LexisNexis, implementing features collaboratively using agile development with Angular and C#.

I complement engineering with structured data tasks: I analyzed web pages for Synap One as a data annotator, extracting movie and music metadata (titles, directors, release dates, actors, song names, albums, and artists). Earlier, I used data mining techniques and MatLab in NCSU’s Game2Learn Lab to analyze student response data for correlations, and I’ve also taught college-level math by providing detailed solution explanations.
