Kevin Bravo

I'm Kevin, a Full Stack / Product Engineer with five years of experience building production systems across startups, government projects, nonprofits and open source. I work with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python/Django, Node.js and PostgreSQL, and lately a lot with LLMs and agent tooling. I like taking ownership of problems, talking with users, shipping software and working through the strange parts once it reaches production.

At Free2Z, I led the React-to-SvelteKit migration while the platform stayed online and reduced CI runtime from 50m34s to 6m45s (about 87%). I build Django APIs, publishing and livestreaming workflows, and a stateless MCP server that lets agents search, publish and manage content through scoped, expiring tokens, with validation and audit logs.

At AVAA, I built two Next.js/PostgreSQL platforms for scholarship and EducationUSA operations. They replaced scattered spreadsheets with records, permissions and reporting; SEP has around 400 monthly users across three chapters. I built a LangChain RAG assistant grounded in program records and worked directly with staff, presenting demos, explaining technical decisions and improving the workflows from their feedback.

I also built Billingua Talent as the sole engineer for the U.S. Department of State's Venezuela Affairs Unit through AVAA, including multi-tenant data models, candidate and employer flows, advisor dashboards and testing with 50 users and five companies.

I build Viamu and RegistroCiberVE, using LangChain and LangGraph to turn collected sources into structured records. RegistroCiberVE keeps citations and human review before publication. I maintain Zrode for coding agents and have merged contributions to Zed, Orca and T3 Code.

I'm interested in backend-heavy products, AI engineering, developer tools, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and education technology.

Volunteering is also a big part of my life. I'm Vice President of JA Venezuela Alumni and serve on AVAA's Education Committee, helping shape the program's strategy, curriculum and continuous improvement for 300 scholars across three chapters. I organized the Dev3pack hackathon hub and separately mentored four students in Technovation Girls Venezuela.
