What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead embedded Linux and networking work, own architecture and technical decisions, and collaborate closely with hardware to build maintainable, high-performance systems for industrial and telecom products.

I’m an Embedded Linux & Networking Engineer and Technical Lead with over six years of experience designing and developing software for embedded systems, from bare-metal microcontrollers to Linux-based networking platforms. My focus is C/C++ firmware architecture, embedded Linux, and hardware/software integration—turning ideas into complete products from concept to production.

In my current role as Team / Technical Lead at Cognitech LLC, I lead and mentor five embedded software engineers to deliver a DWDM/DCI optical networking platform. I define software architecture and technical direction, coordinate planning and code reviews, and stay actively hands-on with Embedded Linux and networking software—bridging hardware decisions to reliable software delivery.

I build custom Linux distributions and U-Boot bootloaders with Buildroot, configure Device Trees (DTS), and integrate BusyBox using cross-compilation toolchains. I also develop industrial networking and communications features—UART/USART, SPI, I²C, CAN, Modbus, RS-232/RS-485, Ethernet/TCP-IP, BLE, SNMP, WebSockets, and GPS (NMEA0183)—and use tools like GDB, GDB Server, OpenOCD, and JTAG for deep debugging.
