Бекжан Ахметов

I’m an Astrophysics Research Intern at Al- Farabi Kazakh National University, where I worked on research that resulted in a publication: “Search and identification of young stellar objects in the N19 infrared dust bubble.” I enjoy turning complex questions into clear findings and sharing progress with others.

I also bring strong community leadership through roles like Event Organizer and Founder, Lecturer (Space Odyssey Astronomy Club). Through KazRockets tournaments and hackathons, I coordinated stakeholders, kept logistics running smoothly, and helped drive participation and impact.

Technically, I use tools and programming to build and simulate aerospace and related projects, including OpenRocket, Autodesk Tinkercad, Fusion 360, and C++. I’ve also done freelance video editing with Adobe After Effects, which strengthened my attention to detail and production quality.
