Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Wood Boring Machine Operator to join our innovative production team. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of wood boring machine operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate wood boring machines to achieve precise specifications per production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Implement and uphold safety standards and protocols to create a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with production management to forecast needs and optimize production workflows.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience operating wood boring machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of wood processing techniques and machinery operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications.
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC wood boring machines and advanced manufacturing technologies.
