Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wire Winding Machine Supervisor to lead our production team in optimizing wire winding operations. In this role, you will oversee the daily activities of the wire winding department, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the wire winding production team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for wire winding processes to ensure consistency and quality
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in wire winding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of wire winding machinery and processes
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production goals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in operating wire winding machines and related equipment
- Experience with production planning and inventory management software
- Familiarity with CAD software for design and layout purposes
