Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Wellness Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive wellness programs that promote the health and well-being of our employees. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop initiatives that support a culture of wellness, enhance employee engagement, and improve overall organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative wellness programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our workforce
- Conduct assessments to identify employee wellness needs and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate wellness initiatives into the company culture
- Develop and manage budgets for wellness programs, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Provide coaching and support to employees to encourage healthy behaviors and lifestyle changes
- Analyze wellness program metrics and generate reports to evaluate impact and inform future strategies
- Organize wellness challenges, events, and workshops that foster community and engagement
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in employee wellness and health promotion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Human Resources, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in wellness program management or related fields
- Strong knowledge of health and wellness principles, including mental health, nutrition, and physical fitness
- Proven ability to develop strategic wellness initiatives that align with organizational goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage employees at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing data and metrics to drive program improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
- Certification in wellness coaching, health education, or a related discipline
- Experience in virtual program delivery and engagement strategies
- Familiarity with employee assistance programs (EAP) and mental health resources
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in utilizing wellness program management software and health assessment tools
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) for training and development
- Ability to leverage social media and digital platforms for wellness communications
