Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager (Used Cars) to lead our remote sales team in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction in the used car market. In this role, you will leverage your industry expertise to develop strategic sales initiatives, manage team performance, and cultivate relationships with both customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for used cars
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a remote sales team to optimize performance and foster a culture of accountability
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and enhance our market position
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring a superior purchasing experience
- Implement best practices in sales processes, ensuring the team adheres to company standards and compliance regulations
- Collaborate with marketing and inventory teams to develop campaigns and promotions that drive sales
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to communicate performance metrics and strategic recommendations to upper management
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record of success in managing teams
- Strong understanding of the used car market and customer purchasing behavior
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a remote team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
- Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools
