Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the automotive sector.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, dealers, and industry partners, to enhance brand presence and drive sales.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance against sales targets, providing coaching and support to ensure success.
- Manage the sales budget and forecast to ensure optimal resource allocation and ROI.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align on initiatives that support sales objectives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the automotive market, including trends, competitors, and customer behaviors.
- Proficient in sales management tools and CRM software.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a General Sales Manager role or equivalent, with direct responsibility for strategic sales planning and execution.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Familiarity with automotive sales technologies and digital marketing tools.
- Understanding of inventory management systems and sales forecasting methodologies.
